Hey Tailgaters!
Welcome to our summer issue! Summer is here, which means tailgates on the beach, at the parks and on the hiking trails all over this great land of ours! Baseball is in full swing and racing fans are already half way through their season. Speaking of racing, we recently took a trip to the Pocono Raceway and took in the ARCA race from the infield. It was very hot and very exciting! Check out our interview with ARCA driver Mike Harman. Mike’s crew took very good care of us all day long and we couldn’t have had a better time.
Speaking of great tailgating, we also visited the NCAA Lacrosse Championships in Boston during the Memorial Day weekend. Brother, have they got it going on! The three-day event featured some great lacrosse as well as some great tailgating.
Also in this issue, Bobby Hurte takes us down memory lane with a look at the history of Talladega. It being summer, Bobby also checks in with a little history of one of our favorite grillables – the almighty Hot Dog.
